It is great if a company can implement a
quality system on their own, but we have found that many companies either do
not have the time, knowledge, or resources to implement a quality system. We at
Quality Processes understand that. There are some companies that have started
to document their quality system, but it got put on the back burner, so to
speak.
There are many consulting companies that
like to hold their client's hand throughout the life of the company…this
is not cost effective for the company, and without the company being in control
of their system, it is many times not as effective.
Our policy is to "train the
trainer," which will make your quality system self-sufficient within the
bounds of your company. This means that you will see the end of consulting
costs within a reasonable amount of time.
There are also the consultants that sell
"Quality Systems in a Box." This is not us. We believe that every
quality system should be personalized to fit the said company.
We prefer to stay in contact with our
clientele by either sending an e-mail or fax weekly or bi-weekly. This way, you
can get back with us when it is convenient for you. We will give your company
the documentation, tools, and training to maintain the system that is tailored
to your facility.
We have the resources to implement your
quality system accurately, cost effectively, and in a timely fashion. In most
cases (depending on the size of your company) we can have all documentation and
tools ready for certification audit within 3 months.
All of the quality systems that we implement
into your company are backed up with our guarantee that you will gain
certification or we will fix the non-conformances for free.

ISO 9001:2008
The International Standards Organization
recently came out with a new revision for the ISO 9000 family called ISO
9000:2008 or ISO 9001:2008. What steps toward this new revision of the ISO
standard has your company taken to achieve this new level of certification?
My company is ISO 9001:2000
registered/compliant:
- Quality Processes will write your documentation and give you the
measuring tools required by the new standard (S.P.C., Customer
Satisfaction, Supplier, etc).
- Quality Processes offers Internal Auditor training to be sure that
your company maintains this level of achievement, self-sufficiently.
- Quality Processes also offers Internal Auditing. Maybe your
personnel are too busy to worry about the internal audits, or you want an
outsider's perspective on your company's ISO system to make the system
stronger.
My company has never been
ISO 9000 registered/compliant:
- With this new revision, it can give your company a fresh start to
achieve ISO 9000 certification. With many companies requiring this level
of achievement, it's better to get into compliance now, rather than all of
a sudden one of the companies you supply to requires it, a system gets
thrown together, and no one understands it, or they just don't follow it.
ISO certification is something for your company to be proud of. The whole
company should be involved for the system to be a success.
- Quality Processes will help you to implement ISO 9001:2008. We
offer training so that your company can become self-sufficient. We believe
in training the trainer, so that your company won't have to rely on
consulting firms for your certification, and so that you won't have to be
paying consulting fees for the life of your certification.
What is Driving
Accreditation?
- Many companies are requiring their supplier to achieve ISO 9000
certification.
- Companies may need a quality system that is recognized
internationally
- The marketplace; companies must keep up with competitors who are
ISO 9000 Certified.
- Internal motives; companies can improve their internal system.
How Can Quality Processes
Help?
- We will conduct a gap analysis.
- Write all the documentation (Quality Manual, Quality Procedures,
etc.) required by the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
- Give you the measuring tools required by the ISO 9001:2008 Standard
and determine the best way to implement them into your system with minimal
resources (example: Customer Satisfaction, Quality Objectives, S.P.C.
etc.).
- We will keep open lines of communication by faxing or e-mailing you
a letter at least once a week explaining our progress and/or a list of
question asking for clarification on subjects required by the standard
that was not explained during the gap analysis.
- Conduct a final audit after documentation is complete as well
ensuring the documentation conforms to your processes.
- Help you find a registrar and complete any forms required by the
registrar.
Quality Processes offers a
wide variety of services to help your company achieve ISO 9000:2008 compliance.
We believe in "training the trainer" to help your company's ISO
system be stronger and self-sufficient.
