Our PPAP process includes the following:

1st Internal Print Process Review (PPR), External Print Process Review (PPR), PFMEA, Process Flow Chart, Control Plan, Layout, Capability Study, Gauge R&R, 2nd Internal Print Process Review (PPR), and Completed Shop Packet.

Quality (Quality Processes)

Project Engineer and/or Sales

This group will meet to discuss options to control process and quality control of key characteristics.

Layout

Complete dimensional layout of 3 pieces (or per the customer’s requirements).

Capability Study

Measure all Key Characteristics on 30 pieces (or per the customer’s requirements).

Gauge R&R

3 people must measure all key characteristics on 2 parts 10 times.

2nd Internal Print Process Review

2nd Print Process Review is the final Print Process Review

Shop Packet

Develop Operating Procedures with digital pictures

Establish Packaging with digital pictures

Establish alternate packaging with digital pictures

Establish quality requirements

Format into Shop Packet

Translate Shop Packet (optional with approval)
